Become part of a lasting legacy.
The Ann & Sandy Cross Conservation Area offers a truly unique opportunity where companies can demonstrate their commitment to habitat conservation and environmental sustainability, not only through financial support, but by joining a list of valued partners who have contributed directly to Ann and Sandy’s legacy through corporate planting. Our story grew out of a partnership with the Carbon Farmer, an organization offering companies the opportunity to offset their carbon footprint by planting trees. In 2014, a dream was born to plant 1 million trees in the area to enhance and restore habit as part of our conservation mission.
Through the Alberta Junior Forest Wardens, we are well on our way to planting 100,000 trees and more recently, through Project Forest, even more work will be done to enhance the area’s habitat and improve carbon sequestration. We have worked with numerous corporations and organizations such as The Calgary Foundation, U-Haul Trailers, Tree Canada, Delta Hotels, LaFarge Canada, Enerplus and Pembina Pipelines, who have spent the day at the ASCCA with their staff rolling up their sleeves and leaving a lasting legacy through the trees they plant.
What we are proposing will be a win-win.
The participation of your company and staff will be a positive team building exercise with a tangible result; and will restore the ecosystem and receive some of the funding necessary to support our outdoor education programs and efforts to maintain and conserve habitat.
Contact us today and learn how you can be part of a lasting legacy.
